MARK YORK (Producer/Director/Composer/Lyricist/Librettist) Executive Producer/President and Co-Founder of The Ziegfeld Society and Mark York Productions.

He is Jim Dale’s personal pianist and together with Richard Maltby, Jr. and Aaron Gandy, they will be opening Just Jim Dale, Mr. Dale’s One Man Show about his upbringing in the British Music Halls, on London’s West End at the Vaudeville Theatre from May – June 2015. They completed a limited engagement at Roundabout Theatre Company this past June – August 2014 to rave reviews. Mark has been Music Coordinator for Jerry Herman since 1992 and is the Arranger, Pianist and Musical Director for I’ve Got A Little Twist, the new hit revue featuring stars of New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players still playing all across the US.

Mark was Cy Coleman’s Music Assistant and after his passing was the Musical Director for The Cy Coleman Estate. He was the Arranger/Pianist for the Broadway bound Busker Alley which started as a Benefit Gala Concert for The York Theatre starring Jim Dale and Glenn Close, and directed by Tony Walton. Also with Mr. Walton, he has arranged and musically directed Conversation Pieceand The Happy Hypocrite (World Premier), both featuring songs by Noel Coward. Mark musically directed the George White ScandalsBenefit Concert for The Bandwagon Theatre Co. starring Julie Wilson, Helen Gallagher, Penny Fuller, Joel Higgins, Jane Summerhays, Sarah Rice, Meg Bussert and Martin Vidnovic and produced/directed Ziegfeld’s Midnight Frolic of 2007 , Ziegfeld’s Midnight Frolic of 2008 starring Helen Gallagher, Jane Summerhays and Anita Gillette for The Ziegfeld Club. As the Musical Representative for The Cy Coleman Estate, he worked on the recent revival of Sweet Charity starring Christina Applegate.

As founder of York Productions in Oklahoma City, a children’s musical theatre production company, Mark produced five editions of York’s Broadway Jubilee (a Ziegfeld Follies style revue featuring a cast of 60 kids) and over 40 productions of full musicals & revues with children. He is currently working with Gail and Buddy Crutchfield as their dance arranger for Shuffles Tap. Composer/Lyricist of over 20 musicals, the World Premier of his newest musical, Galveston! opened for a sold out run in July 2003 in Galveston, Texas at The Strand Theatre and again at the Hobby Center in downtown Houston Sept 2011.
